Nonintrusive Parameter Identification of IoT-Embedded Isotropic PMSM Drives

This paper proposes a nonintrusive parameter identification procedure suitable for Internet-of-Things (IoT)-embedded isotropic permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSM). The method is designed scenarios where only measurements collected without additional sensors, dedicated tests or signal injection from in-service off-the-shelves motor drives are available. After the automatic detection of steady state operating conditions defined by triplet current-speed-temperature, rotor flux linkage, stator resistance, inductance, and inverter distorted voltage term estimated using two points. Particular emphasis placed in defining criteria selecting these optimal to minimize estimation errors. latter due inevitable difference between parameters different As vessel investigate effectiveness proposed identification, experimental simulation carried out on high-speed PMSM drive have been used validation purpose. also compared with existing methods literature demonstrate its superiority considered scenario.
